Three Types of People

There are three types of People in the world:

  1. GOALS are FAIR, and the STRATEGY is also FAIR.
  2. GOALS are FAIR, BUT the STRATEGY is NOT FAIR.
  3. GOALS are NOT FAIR, and the STRATEGY is also NOT FAIR.

Any person can be grouped into one of these general categories. Group 1 are perfect ten. Group 2 takes 5 out of 10. And Group 3 are the most deceitful and venomous.

Group 1 characteristics are; they never defend any hidden agenda nor kill other people. Group 2 can be corrected, because they there is a bit of goodness in them. However Group 3 is brainwashed with blunders to a highly dangerous and uncorrectable creed.

Dead as a DODO

STOP DEFORESTATION

Stop soil and sand mining. Or we all will be extinct.

How to protect the nature and environment ?

May be, we can think about the following as immediate counter measures:

  1. Agriculture lands, if seen misused/being filled up the government must take over such land and should be entrusted to a society or Kudumbasree for cultivation.
This measure can promote agriculture, employment and stop soil leveling.

  1. Land should not be resold in smaller plots in a period of three or five years.
If the owner has to sell the property (if he needs urgent money), the government may buy or take over
that   land for the price notified as minimum land value.
Such lands may be accumulated in a land bank or distributed to the  landless for agriculture or even
can be used for public infrastructure developments that may arise in future.

  1. Panchayath members should be held responsible for preserving their territory. If any agriculture land is seen misused/filling up; it must be reported to the officials or Police. Failing to do so, they must be charged for being irresponsible; and those persons should be declared non eligible for contesting again as members in next elections.

  1. A video Data base of the agriculture land in Kerala should be prepared immediately. This shall serve as a strong proof against misuses and will also help the law to enforce the previous status in case of land filling.

Salutes the Mahatma

His words and thoughts are gaining more and more importance. He once said - " There is enough in this world for every man's need, but not for his greed".

Today, the earth is exploited( destroyed) in all possible ways, by soil mining, river sand mining, deforestation..... Still his greed had no limits.

Future Projects for Kerala

The state in these years has changed a lot. The God's Country's landscape and the climate has also changed unpredictably. The youth is looking for fast money and are least bothered about the rightfulness of their approach.

Keralam must take take up the following projects:

  1. Waste Management & recycling of non-degradable wastes
  2. Restrict unplanned constructions and developments that upset the Eco-system
  3. Encourage agriculture to make the state self-sufficient in food
  4. Development of roads; acquire land to double the width.
  5. Plan state as a Tourism, Health and Education hub
Land is for meeting man's basic needs: Food, water and Shelter. The land should not seen just as a commodity for trade. We must not forget that during mullaperiyar issue, Tamil Nadu blocked the passage of vegetables to Kerala and the prices almost doubled.
Another burning issue is, with five lakh vehicles hitting the road every year, roads in the state are insufficient to contain them. In next five years, all roads(rural and urban) should be broadened. The govt should start acquiring the sides giving sufficient compensation to land owners before it is too late.Every day new constructions and multi-storied buildings are popping up.Hence govt should act before it is too late and costly.

What is most important for Kerala?

Let us have a look at the most severe problems  faced by Kerala. Many say it is unemployment. But the sight of Beharis and Bengalis in Perumbavoor and other smaller town in Kerala tells us someother story. Lakhs of such day laborers are working in Kerala and are earning about Rs.400 to 1000/- per day.
So certainly unemployment is not all a issue in Kerala.

What to be changed is our attitude.
