What is best for Kerala?

Best plans for Kerala?

Kerala, looking into the future, should bank on the following two:

  1. Tourism

  2. Education

The reasons for the above proposal are outlined below:

Why Tourism?

  •  the natural beauty of Kerala is a gift from God. Because this  reason Kerala is otherwise known as "god's own Country".
  • Second reason is that world tourism is increasing. More and more travelers are  seen to spent their vacations in visiting foreign places.
Why Education?
  • The high literacy rate (close to 98%) and the manpower can be very effectively utilized. Kerala can be developed into as an Education hub. It will be useful for the youth in Kerala as they can get quality education and move out to foreign countries for employment.

Kerala instead on concentrating on the above two is spending time on harmful destruction of Hills, Rivers and Trees. The present trend in the state is to abandon agriculture and paddy are been sold to real estates. Residential flats and villas are then built leveling the once fertile land. I strongly believe in years to come tourism can bring us more revenues than any other industries. Hence what should be done is - preserve the god given treasure. Stop disfiguring the beautiful face of Kerala.

Autonomous Colleges

Autonomous colleges are good. But is destructive in the hands of people with the motive for making money. Many educational institutions are around whose prime motive is to make money.
Education should be seen as a service not as a commodity for profit making. Only such colleges that are strictly maintaining quality and high moral standards should be granted autonomy. Also it must be ensured that the institutions are grooming the students in the right way as the true citizens of the nation. No student should come out as a closed book. But as a nationalist with a concern for the deprived.

Metrics for Correctness

All of us blindly believe our beliefs are ALWAYS correct.
How to define correctness?

Metrics for probability for corrects:

Probability for our belief to be true -   20%
If others also admits our belief        -   25%
Scientifically Proven                       -   55%.

Centuries ago Catholics believed Earth is flat. This was believed to be true until one proved otherwise scientifically.

As science is always evolving we can never attribute 100% to whatever we know till date. There will be more things to be added and few deletions to be made to the present knowledge base as science discover new things. However science can predict things with maximum (55%) surety.
